Do you want to make a difference for your community?

If so, Manchester City Council wants to hear from you. Change grants are available for community groups who want to encourage local activity and involvement and who need a small amount of money to get off the ground.

To get a grant you must be a small or new community group of Manchester residents run on a wholly voluntary basis, (that is, without paid workers) wanting to provide services or activities that will benefit local communities in Manchester.

Funding could be for newsletters, publicity, stationery, small items of equipment, meeting rooms, training, social events, fun days, or any other reasonable costs of developing your group. Based on what you need, grants can be from a few pounds up to £1,000.

For enquiries about developing your group and activities or making an application for a Change grant, please contact : Jolanta Shields 0161 234 3686
