Launched to mark the Year of the Volunteer, the service enables digital satellite viewers in the UK to press the red button while watching the Community Channel and enter a menu that lets them search for volunteering opportunities in their locality. All viewers need to do is punch in their postcode and the results will appear on their TV screens.
