A bogus caller has been burgling homes in South Manchester
FRAIL ELDERLEY VULNERABLE people are being targetted
During the afternoons to early evenings in the past few days betweeen Thursday21/8/08 to Monday 25/8/08 there has been 3 incidents of bogus burglaries in the South Manchester area - specifically Didsbury and Withington
OFFENDER/S PURPORTING TO BE COUNCIL TREE SURGEONS/GARDENERS TRICKED THE OCCUPANTS INTO PARTING WITH CASH IN EXCHANGE FOR NON EXISTANT GARDENING WORK ON TWO OCCASIONS ACCOMPLICE ENTERED PROPERTY AND STOLE CASH FROM WITHIN
Offender description:2 WHITE MALES WEARING YELLOW JACKETS/ LIGHT COLOURED SHIRT AGED 30 - 40 YEARS TALL, ATHLETIC BUILD, 1" LONG MOUSEY HAIR AND 20 YEARS POSSIBLY IRISH ACCENT ONE MED BUILD FAWN TROUSERS AND BLUEJEANS POSSIBLY USING A WHITE BEDFORD STYLE VAN WITH AYELLOW FLASHING LIGHT LOCATED ABOVE CAB
