Subject - Special Care Baby Unit Fundraising Society

Posted : (Thursday 24th August 2006 ) By - Jane (Registered User)The Unit is a centre of caring for over 400 babies annually from the North West, and transports babies when needed from all other parts of England. Many of the babies are sent from other Units in need of the highly specialised care that is given at this Regional Centre. Some of the babies weigh as little as 500 grams. They need the very best specialist life-saving equipment and very highly qualified staff to look after them with one to one nursing.

This is where you come in. They need your help. Your donation will make a difference, as they are hoping to supply crucial life-saving equipment, including heart monitors and resuscitation equipment.

Please send your donations to Appeals Office, Oban House, 138 Rake Lane, Clifton, Swinton, Manchester, M27 8RH (Cheques made payable to "Special Care Baby Unit Fundraising Society").
